Enjoy the summer sunshine with these healthy and sugar free chocolaty, decadent, creamy, and seriously fudgey chocolate fudge ice pops – a thick and rich chocolate treat with a surprisingly refreshing punch. Even better? They’re totally vegan and made with only 3 ingredients! Once you’ve tried these sugar-free chocolate fudge popsicles, you’ll never go back to those artificial store bought brands!

Recently we’ve been going through a seriously long heatwave over here in Florida. Sadly, this means basking in sunshine and enjoying long summer weekend evenings outside, is, in reality, a little daunting. All I seem to want to do at the moment is cool off next to my AC. But I have to say, all this hiding from sweltering 90-degree summer heat, got me feeling down and missing out on outdoor air, energy, and liveliness.

Making Sugar Free Chocolate Popsicles

So, I came up with a plan! I was going to make it my goal to try out making all kinds of different homemade popsicles and other assorted cooling frozen treats and snack away on them with family in a mini outdoor party.

Of course, as you might have guessed, I knew I had to make the frozen treats healthy and sugar free… and I have to say I had a blast! Firstly, whipping on the apron and making a mess in the kitchen and then at the end of the day sharing all the delicious sugar free popsicle treats I had made with family, in the outdoor evening hot summer sun, was a whole load of fun!

It always feels better when sweet treats are also healthy and nourishing.

*Cue* Sugar-Free Fudgsicles

I have to say, one recipe I whipped up that day I've really fallen in love with, are these frozen fudge popsicles.

Remember those chocolaty popsicles you get from the neighborhood ice cream truck? Well these pops are inspired by those creamy frozen fudge pops I think we’ve all had in the summer during our childhood.

Gosh… the sweet sound of ice cream truck bells ringing in the hot summer… am I right?!

Except I took those dreamy frozen fudgey childhood classic and styled them up with a nutritious twist. Get this: sugar-free, diabetes-friendly, vegan and made from pure-wholesome ingredients.

None of those yucky ol’ additives and artificial flavorings here. Just delicious sugar-free fudgsicles!

Oh… and did I mention these pops are super quick to make and made with only 4 ingredients?

The thick fudge-like texture is due to the ripe bananas and naturally sweetened with pure stevia, or for an even richer taste – use dates. Yummy!

Sweet summertime treats don’t get better than this!
